Newborn Care

A lifelong adventure begins when you bring your baby home. Your baby’s doctor will see your baby regularly throughout the first year for well-baby exams, where growth and development are tracked and important preventive care, such as vaccinations, is provided.

From the moment a baby is born, pediatricians are on hand to help watch over your little one. Healthy babies are examined in the hospital, at a pediatric office visit a few days after coming home and every few months after that through the first two years of life. Your doctor will carefully monitor measures of growth and development, as well as provide important preventive care, including vaccinations. We believe in close monitoring of newborns, especially within the critical first several weeks of life.
